About Aah Calm

Aah Calm is a quiet place for your mind. Pick a Calm and it fills the screen with slow visuals. Sound is optional and never starts louder than you left it.

How it works

Each Calm is a single full-screen scene drawn in your browser, with sound generated on the spot rather than streamed. The controls fade after a few seconds; tap or press a key to bring them back. Your volume, mute, favourites and last Calm stay on your device, and the site can open offline after a first visit. There are no accounts, and page counting only happens if you allow it on the privacy page.

Keyboard: M mutes or plays sound, F toggles fullscreen, left and right arrows move between Calms, Escape returns to the list.

Visuals

Deep Space Space

A slow drift through stars and distant planets with the quiet dark between them. Nothing rushes toward you. The sound is a soft, wide hum that sits under the picture rather than on top of it.

Fractal Spiral

A slow fall into a glowing spiral. The view pulls inward and the curves open into smaller spirals of the same kind, in deep indigo with filaments of blue and magenta. Tap to hold the picture, tap again to let it move. A tone list offers single tones, slow pulses, coloured noise and acoustic tones. They are sound choices, nothing more.

Positive Ideas Meadow

A meadow that passes through day and night while short, quiet reminders appear and fade. Each one is a single plain sentence. Meadow sounds, wind and birds, play underneath.

Sand Mandala Ritual

A mandala grows grain by grain from the centre outward, then is gently swept away and begins again. It is a picture of patience and letting go. Singing bowls ring softly while it builds.

Winter Train Winter

A train window in winter. Snow fields and pines slide past, the rails run north, and the light changes slowly from day to dusk. The sound is the low, even rhythm of the carriage, which many people find easy to rest inside.

Mindfulness

5 Senses Ground

A grounding practice counted slowly through the senses: things you can see, hear, feel, smell and taste. Each step is given time. A soft bell marks the moves between them.

Body Ease

A slow pass of attention from the feet to the top of the head. The screen marks where you are; a low tone holds steady underneath. Let each part be as it is and move on when the picture does.

Box Breathing Breath

Four even sides: inhale, hold, exhale, hold. A marker moves around a square at a steady count so your breath has a shape to rest on. It is a common way to settle before sleep or after a hard moment.

Breath Breath

A single ring expands and softens to guide your breath. Inhale as it opens, exhale as it settles. There is nothing to count and nothing to get right; the ring sets a gentle pace and you follow as much as you like.
